Is that the Scottish lad? How does he go for you lot.. he seemed like a bit of a talent for Scotland in the Internationals last season. Hope he starts a trend of young Scottish players making their way into the professional game
Judging by the Hull KR forum A few expats went to the game. Dave Scott is indeed the scottish Winger and he unfortunately suffered an ankle injury and his tour could be over. Hopefully it's not that serious and he can make the last game.
I know it's preseason and everything, but wouldn't this tour have been better during the school/college holidays when every member of the 20's and 18's could have gone for the experience?

Are you living in a dream world. If we have members of the squad who are at College and couldn't get 19 days off for a paid trip to travel to Australia for 19 days then I'd question their commitment to being a proffesional RL player.
Well done to KR for doing this. A lot of people (myself included) have criticised them in particular for signing so many cr*p obverseas players - this tour shows a real commitment to junior development.

What he said
....and even better, IIRC, they collected money for entry to Mason first training session last year as a way of helping to fund this....every cloud and all that

Sorry, dont agree with that. Since super league the quality of our overseas players has been very good, and without them we would,nt be were we are now. Our youth policy was non existant at the time due to the lure of super league from our noisy neighbours, and we needed quality to get us on our way. would hardly call Vella, dobson, green, newton, webster, galea, clinton cr*p.

What would you call Bauer, Crossman, Dyer, Gannon & Lennon?
It's easy to be selective when making a point. Our youth policy was appalling until the last 3 years.
