I’m a designer of terrace wear/casual tee shirts and I want to put together a collection based on memorable images that showcase rugby league's beloved grounds, both past and present, and I’d love your input.



I'm not just doing this to make some profit (there probably isn't that much to be made), but really because I love the game and its community. I have some personal favourites in mind - the long bar at Headingley, the 'Wigan Football Club Central Park' sign, Hilton Park's scoreboard, hanging about on the lawn outside Knowsley Road with a couple of cans in September waiting for kick-off time (and countless others). But as an away fan to these places, my views and memories will be different to the regulars I want to hear from.



So please give me some nostalgic inspiration and you will hopefully find it on a tee shirt to show you were once there.

When I first started watching Wakefield Trinity as a kid in the late 1980s the cooling towers of Wakefield B power station seemed to loom right over the north terrace of Belle Vue. They were actually a lot further back but their sheer size made them feel like they were just across the other side of Doncaster road. They were demolished in December 1991.
