Reminds me so much of Briscoe when he was starting. Real handful for Wigan and he wasn't afraid to get involved. Showed his pace again when his opposite number got away and was reeled in easily. It's early days but I see no reason why he shouldn't be given the number 2 shirt next season.

I thought Lineham was great last night and was your most impressive player. He showed great pace and balance and has real potential.

He's injured at the moment but has signed for Wakey for next season.

Reece Lyne hasn't been anywhere near impressive in his time here.



You really only get one chance to impress, if you don't take that, you will be doomed to oblivion. I don't think he's good enough for us.

I did have to laugh when he returned a kick and left Carmont and Thornley clutching at thin air and Stevo said: "thats a very intelligent kick by Tomkins, got the back spin on it."

I feel the centre and wing spots and Lineham and Crook's to lose for next season, both have looked the part in the games they have played this year.



anyone know if Arundel has actually made a comeback for Cas yet? We must surely be having 2nd thoughts about the deal if he hasn't.

assuming we have signed Jason Crookes (if not another winger)

it'll be good for competition for places with Briscoe, Lineham and Crookes

same as centre with Yeaman, Crooks and Arundel

Competition for places is exactly what we want.



Look at our squad now and what it was in previous years. We have given debuts to 17 players, with many of our youth gettin valuable game time. So much better off for future season for the likes of Kent, Green, Bowden, Nicko, Lineham, Crooks, Cunningham etc, we will finally have some solid squad depth with plenty of SL experience.

Showed more in 2 games than will sharp has in 2 years. great to seea winger playing with confidence. Hope he goes on to cement a place in the team next year but really struggling to see what crookes will bring to the team above what lineham does
