What he said was that he had to make the deal to get a full back to give us a chance of staying up. Hall was the only way of doing it and we were covered in his position.



The comment about him leaving was in answer to people who said they didn't want to lose him. He said he didn't want to lose him either but if he didn't fix this situation he'd have lost him anyway.

If you watch him on Trinity Tv interview he clearly states that hall would be leaving at the end of season anyway if we go down, So because we needed a fullback asap and had enough cover where Hall plays it was a club decision to let him go reluctantly.

I'm not saying he didn't say what you said there.
