I have a moan sometimes during a game. It's only because I care so much. If it looks like we are losing and have shot ourselves in the foot some way, it gets frustrating. People just show their anxiety in different ways. It was a good performance in the end though I was worried for a little while that we might throw it away too. We had 2 or 3 periods where we made errors and lost intensity but you can't have a perfect 80 all that often. Overall, very good. If we can bring the A game out we might just give the Tigers something to think about

yes slight difference though there your talking about the skill of one person to kick which changes in degree of difficulty, again your asking for a 100% completion in kicking, not many manage that in the league

well you wont get a free pint an to be fair everybody moans about tge performance of tgere team at some point or another thats what being a fan is all about exoeriencing the highs an moaning about tge lows.

My comment was somewhat tongue in cheek, however, No, not 100% but following on from the misses v Catalan I felt sure a change in kicker to Finn would bring a change of fortune.

Something strange has happened to this forum in the last few years. An inability from many posters to read between the lines - look at the grey areas - stop taking everything so literally.



Snowie is not my mate nor do I want a free pint but unless I've got him wrong it's not difficult to get who he's talking about. It's clearly not people who just want Finn to kick goals or who feel Jowitt is better than Grix - those are opinions not moans.



I'm pretty certain he is talking about the serial moaners who are only happy when we are losing so they can have a huge strop and leave the ground ten minutes early telling anyone who can be bothered to listen that they are never coming back - total knobbers the lot of them IMHO.



He's also right about negativity breeding negativity because it does. It's up to the club and players to give us a product to. We the fans though are the ones who have to take responsibility and sell it and to do so without panicking like old women when it gets a little rough. When these knobbers go to whatever places they go to and tell the world how crap we were even when we were not then any undecideds immediately have the excuse they have been looking for not to bother.



Compare that to Cas fans who never shut up about how great their players are even when they were crap - now look at them - Powell may be the main reason but positive thinking has sure helped.



If I owned Trinity there are at least half a dozen of these serial moaners who I know of - and as I now own the club and wish to run it as a successful business not a democracy for the lame of mind I'd ban them all.



However do not be alarmed as I remain as skint as ever.

Agree but tbh even the most successful Clubs in Leeds and Wigan seem to have those fans that seem to get off every time they lose or do poor. RL isn't exempt of miserable gits unfortuantely, they're at every Club. Luckily they're in the vast minority.

So why start a thread moaning about someone who was moaning? Wouldn't it have been better to just say nothing, or did you just want to moan about something?

A euromillions winning ticket, the challenge cup, league leaders shield and super league trophy. (In any order).

What snowie is saying is simply GET BEHIND YOUR CLUB .

I think over the past few years, The RFL and until MC took over, with very poor management of the club has created a lot of fear for Trinity fans.

Long gone are the days when not finishing bottom (or bottom 2) meant that we were guaranteed top flight rugby.

The start of "franchising" and then the loss of franchising has brought the club to the brink more times than is good for any of us.

Add to that the ted days and Glover debacle and now the very real threat of being homeless and the stakes for Wakefield are so high, it's not really healthy and we all know that relegation could actually spell the end for our once proud club.

Then factor in the modern culture and its demand for success and you begin to realise why everything is either really good or desperate.



Our club seems far more vulnerable than most and Trinity fans know the consequences of dropping out of the top flight.



Im not saying this justifies the crap that some fans throw at the players and team on match days but, the environment that SL is played in is a long way from the "family" sport that the game talks about.



There has long been a feeling that some clubs and the RFL would rather Wakefield disappeared, which again makes the ground issues so sensitive.



Having said that, there is nothing worse than when "fans" lay into players for making a mistake or two and clearly although these people may want Trinity to win, they are not supporting the team, which is something that we have to do whether we win or lose.



Everyone is different though and some cant handle their emotions as well as others so, maybe we have to cut them some slack but, we shouldn't be slagging of the players.

Ive never met a player at any level that makes mistakes on purpose, they are usually trying their best , even if it's not always good enough.



Trinity are doing particularly well at the minute and everyone should be enjoying the games, which are even better with a pint of Trinity ale in your hand
