Well done to all concerned for getting a competitive squad together in such a short space of time. I'm sure we will see the team spirit return amongst the players and the fans again. It has been sadly missing for some time.

We didn’t half look a small team when compared to London, and I thought London looked small for a Super League side! I think we are going to get bullied by some teams this season.

Great defensive effort particularly in the first half, we created plenty try scoring opportunities on the left, none taken, but none on the right, why??

First contact game and the squad will benefit 100% from today, must agree with observation above, we did look on the small side.

Ditto. I can see a few teams taking us on, up the middle. Hopefully, Luke Douglas will make a difference there.



Very difficult to criticise anyone, in what was basically a training exercise. Next week should see an improvement, after getting the first outing out of the way, and when we field a more settled seventeen.

What has happened with Acton is he gone or just serving a bad was suggested he could be playing part time a while ago? Lack of size could make it a tough year in the champ.

On another day, Stefan Marsh would have ended the game with a hat trick.



Ridyard Woods pairing showed promise. Russel showed up well.

I think it's fair to say that a bit more grunt up front would be nice (and Luke Douglas would fill that nicely next week(,however, i'm not too disappointed overall with the performance today as i think there might be more to come from the lads come the 1st game next week.
