I really like both these signings.

I am seeing a pattern with who is being signed and what is being said about them.

We are signing the players who are younger and in some ways not yet a finished article, but have obvious ability and heart on the pitch. Each is being described as a hard worker and willing to learn on the training field. All these guys are exactly what we need as our core going into the next two years. Good players, with the right attitudes, who have the potential to help us challenge for SL and potentially grow into SL players should we get there. They also obviously fit into our financial plan right right now as well.

I am sure more players will be signed using this same thinking, Liam Kay springs to mind of course, and I'm also sure that some very well chosen new faces will be added for next season when the time is right. The great thing is that with the undeniable positive buzz around our club, quality players will want to be here now knowing that Paul Rowley is here for the forseeable future.

Excellent news, really is good to be signing these players up full time. Really shows commitment to the plan to get us is Super League and how on track that plan is.

I agree about Liam Kay. I would hope that he is in Paul's future plans.

When you are over 30 and have a trade it would be a daft move for that person imo.

Tommy can stay part time but sign a new deal all the same he can be semi full time lol

AJ signed a new 2yr deal along with Emmett and McNally in April.

I don't think the lad in question can keep putting his body on the line like he does for much longer and if his livelihood is compromised then he is right. I will be gutted to see him go and he is a Leigh legend in my books.

Who says the whole team have to be full time ?

I spoke to Tommy last week & asked him if he would go FT & his reply was yes
