| Fact is that if there is no buyer then the Bulls go into liquidation and there is no longer a club. The RFL can say the Bulls will fulfill their fixtures but in reality this simply won't happen. Everything will be sold.
The prospect of a newco then appearing would depend on whether it could be profitable or at least break even. Any new Bradford club playing outside SL would never be able to afford to play at Odsal or Valley Parade unless the rent was a tiny fraction of what it is now. The income streams at the lower end of the game are much lower than in SL (less sponsorship, lower attendances).
In short I can't see how a newco could start a new club unless it got some sort of deal on the ground or it becomes a non starter. Even if it did I would be amazed if a new club could even break even.
There's still a real possibility of no Bulls club at all. So the gleeful fans of other clubs may yet see Bradford's demise and any arguments about a newco starting in lower divisions will be academic as it simply won't happen

| Amen to that, and also the numpties trying to somehow make any sort of direct comparison with the Bulls situation, and Rangers, are either trolling, or need their heads testing. The cases are about as comparable as a disorderly drunk and Crippen.

Er why???
Rangers = went bust and reformed as a New Co.
Bradford Bulls = going bust and may come back as a New Co
Sounds similar to me.
Remember this is about the integrity of sport as it should be focused on not allowing clubs to walk away from their responsibilities like paying the taxman and not trading illegally by running the club while insolvent.
Hey I hope for you fans that you will still have a RL club to support in Bradford, but don't ignore what your club has done it is not right and also remeber who did and did not get a Franbchise last year when this must have been known about!!!

Hey don't worry Fat Controller Nigel is from Bradford he will look after you - while he wrecks the game of RL completely.
As for you being a better bet than us, is that based on fans I guess? well when you give your season tickets away for £60 and are in SL while we are in the Championship of course you have more fans than us you plank.
My bet is you will come out of this smelling of roses yet it stinks you are bust end of story.

I trust you were as vociferous as this a little over a decade ago when Halifax failed to fulfill their obligations. Partisan and pompous bull about the "integrity of sport" wasn't much in evidence; and the brotherhood of Rugby League meant very little too: Fax owed significant amounts to other Super League clubs when they went under. I seem to recall your club weren't kicked out of Super League (they managed to kick themselves out soon enough). Times change huh.

Er and you know this little story is true do you got facts to prove this???
We DID NOT GO UNDER, we went under a new regime (same company) who decided to reduce our wage bill to a level that meant we had a very poor team and got deservedly relegated. In other words we took our medecine and are still on the recovery table all these years later.
Why won't Bradford do this???
We all know why - Franchises means they may not get back into SL as its not what goes on the pitch that gets you into SL its who greases up to the Fat Controller the most who does.
By the way the game has NO INTEGRITY, you can even ask none RL fans what they think and they will tell you its a very badly run game now and has become a joke with even fellow fans bickering to suit their own clubs ends like now!

A CVA stopped the club from going under. The creditiors agreed to it, or most did. So at least they got some of the money back they owed. And you are right, it isnt a secret.

Moreso as Fax owed Leeds and Wigan tens of thousands of pounds in transfer fees which, AFAIK, is not the case at the Bulls. Do you have a link that shows Fax owed the money you have stated to Leeds and Wigan?
What ever debt Fax had, they paid what was agreed and came out of the CVA. They didn't "go bust" as you stated. They were close however, and they then cut costs accordingly.

I know the difference between a CVA and what the Bulls are proposing to do. The net result in both cases is that creditors will lose out. Fax also dismissed staff, including the coaching team, made redundancies in back office, subsequently appealed to fans for £100k etc etc.
There is limited information floating around out there about the details of the CVA, but if you search through RSRL there is reference to it. IIRC Leeds were one of the creditors who voted against the CVA, Fax still owing them for Graham Holroyd's transfer fee.
At the time I happened to work with the most prominent Fax fan on these boards, in his day, and got blow by blow accounts of the unfolding Blue Sox disaster; it was not pretty and no one took any delight in it - it seems this is not the case today.

So you don't have anything to back up your statements? Ok we can ignore them then.
And just to correct you yet again, when fax entered the CVA they didn't appeal to fans for donations. This was in 2006, when the needed to make up a shortfall in finances to see the season out. The majority of this money was given by our ex chairmen Howard Posner.

You aint comparing apples with apples here'" Holroyd had a year of his contract to run, hence a transfer fee was paid - IIRC from the Leeds accounts of the time this was £50k, most of which appeared also as a subsequent bad debt. Failing to pay fellow Rugby League clubs and local traders is in my view worse than failing to pay HMRC but the difference is somewhat irrelevant.
Fax did not get "out of the mire" with no loss to others. They used a CVA and did not pay their creditors in full. Bradford look to be going a prepack route. Either way people owed money will lose out.
