They did have actual people in the crowd scenes too. They got paid £70 so that's where they got their pledge money from.

Given that the main stand portrayed in that movie was actually filmed at Elland Rd, then you'd be wrong.

i have no idea if it was used or not to be honest, i have no interest in the film. i was just correcting your statement that the stadium has not been developed since the 1940's, which it has been transformed.



also under the west stand it has been totally transformed. having had the pleasure of refereeing on there numerous times the changing rooms are of uefa standard.



i would agree the seating area needs developing in that stand but finances are they are that won't happen

That person assumed the filming location was Odsal in order to fit in with the childish agenda of the thread... it was in fact the main stand at Elland Rd!

It's no different from a Saturday afternoon but they normally locate them in either the South or South/East corner stands!

Those will be the areas of Elland Road that have been redeveloped since the 1940's then (according to Tad Rhino)?



For the purposes of the film, the Main Stand at Elland Rd fitted the bill perfectly.

In fact I think you will find all the stands at ER have been redevloped or upgraded at some point since the 1940's.
