Wasn't roy powell named cozy after the drummer for some strange reason?



Remember his debut @ bramley in pre season as looking a bag o e with potential & in the early days he did seem to go down in the tackle easily.



Then the later seasons had some purple patches of runs & sidesteps particularly remember some breaks against wigan @ headingley.



Tackling wise maybe he didn't appear to hit with aggression like a young adrian morley but don't remember him missing many or being driven backwards.



The test @ wembley he seemed to almost tackle the aussies out of the game in the 1st 20 b4 kevin ward came on.

Me and my mates used to call him Cozy, after the former Deep Purple drummer.

Dead now I believe, but I don't recall him ever drumming for Deep Purple, I remember him for Rainbow, Whitesnake and Black Sabbath but I could be wrong.
